Business Developer

Location: Arcade, NY


The Business Developer is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities to drive the company’s growth and revenue. This role works closely with sales, marketing, and executive teams to develop and execute strategies that expand the customer base, penetrate new markets, and identify innovative solutions to address customer needs. The Business Developer acts as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to clients, fostering long-term relationships and generating a pipeline of potential business.

Primary Duties

  • Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify potential target markets, customers, and partnership opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans, including defining target goals, account segmentation, and tailored outreach strategies
  • Proactively reach out to prospective clients, build relationships, and uncover new business needs and opportunities
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to develop customized solutions and value propositions that address client challenges
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to secure new business
  • Negotiate and finalize contractual terms, pricing, and other commercial arrangements to close deals
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to contract signing, and ensure a seamless client onboarding process
  • Provide regular updates and reporting on business development activities, pipeline, and key performance metrics
  • Stay informed on industry developments, competitive landscape, and best practices to continuously improve business development strategies


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred
  • 5+ years of proven experience in a business development, account management, or sales role, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and develop data-driven business plans
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with C-suite and other senior-level stakeholders
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, sales enablement tools, and data analysis software
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Domain expertise or prior experience in the company’s industry vertical is preferred
  • Willingness to travel to meet with clients and prospects as needed

Salary Range

  • $100K – $120K
