Inventory Coordinator

Temporary Assignment
Location: Arcade, NY

Primary Duties

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, investigate discrepancies, ensuring that optimal inventory is present and ready for use.
  • Effectively manage inventory.
  • Perform cycle counts ensuring all inventory is accounted for and reported according to company polic.y
  • Make inventory adjustments following company SOP.
  • Support all special Inventory Projects.
  • Investigate, and correct discrepancies, in reported quantities and locations of all inventory.
  • Coordinate resolution of discrepancies with sales, warehouse, receiving, Inspection and production.
  • Analyze inventory concerns for remedial action, including picking same day sale orders, incorrect receipts, stores, and overstock.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially within our POS system, Microsoft Office, Google/Gmail and Excel.
  • Strong with numbers, accuracy, and data entry skills required.
  • Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs. as needed daily to receive, stock, prepare and transfer packages.
  • Work well in a fast-paced, changing and detailed environment.
  • Able to work efficiently both independently, and within a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/grammar skills required.
  • Customer friendly disposition, will be communicating with customers and vendors by phone and e-mail.
  • Computer savvy with the ability to learn and successfully navigate e-commerce and shipping platforms.
  • Ability to lift heavy boxes from time to time.
  • Ability to sit or stand for periods of time.
  • Ability to use a ladder or step stool.
