Fabrication Helper position- 1st shift 8am-4:30pm M-F

Must be reliable with strict attention to detail.

Job Duties:

· Set up and operate the appropriate saw based on material required

· Transfer the material from stock to the correct saw

· Position the material and cut the material at the desired length

· Replace cutting blade/wheel/ when worn or damaged

· Move the cut material to the correct work station and replace the raw material back to stock.

· Position may include other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor and/or management

Qualifications:

· Basic math skills

· Familiarity with cutting tools and equipment

· Understanding of product requirements and size for material handling

· Ability to navigate the shop to retrieve stock to be cut

· Mechanical aptitude a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour
