Job Duties
- Set up, program, and operate orbital welding equipment to perform high-quality welds.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding specifications.
- Inspect materials and welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Maintain and calibrate welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and workplace best practices to prevent hazards.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and team members to ensure precision and efficiency.
- Perform quality control checks and documentation of welding work.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues.
- Help develop designs for welding projects
- Use a variety of tools and equipment
- Position may include other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor and/or management

Qualifications
- Read basic measuring devices.
- Cut and form tubing and other fittings.
- Proficiency in orbital welding processes, techniques, and equipment operation.
- Strong understanding of metallurgy, materials science, and welding symbols.
- Ability to work in high-precision environments and follow strict tolerances.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in math – preferred.
- Willingness to learn – required.
- Work in a fast pace environment.
